Last day in la Paz
Amazing that the city that only a few days ago seemed so scary now feels so familiar. Bolivian people are generally, generous, helpful and kind hence making my life so much easier.
One last full day before moving on to Uyuni and the salt flats. Hopping on and off cable cars is now part of the daily routine, and today I discovered that the orange line is no longer the newest, it is in fact the white line, opened only a few weeks ago.
Up on the orange, just because I enjoy going over the roof of my hostal😂, then onto the white line, swinging criss cross across the valleys, then tracing the main thoroughfare high above the traffic. Single tickets are 3 bolvianos, in other words, virtually free.
Walked back through markets and marches, omg Bolivian folk love a protest, there's been plenty going on every day I've been here, back to my little room overlooking the hills and the cable car. The usual pre dawn start tomorrow, best get packing yet again.
